Notice from Bank of China (Australia) Limited

A copy of the Target Market Determinations (TMD) for any of our financial products regulated by the Design and Distribution Obligations can be obtained on request from Bank of China (Australia) Limited ABN 28 110 077 622 AFSL and Australian Credit Licence no. 287322 (Bank) free of charge. You may request a copy by emailing us on personal.au@bankofchina.com, by phoning us on 1800 095 566 or by asking a staff member in any Bank of China branch in Australia.

The TMD sets out certain information relevant to the Bank's compliance with the design and distribution (DDO) framework in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), including the:

  • class of consumers for whom the product is considered appropriate (i.e. the target market for the product);
  • conditions that will be imposed on the distribution of the product;
  • requirements for the Bank to review the TMD; and
  • requirements for distributors to report certain information to the Bank.

Our TMD does not provide a complete list of the features and terms and conditions of the product. The TMD should be read in conjunction with the relevant product documentation and other information in relation to the product, available on the Bank's website at www.bankofchina.com/au or from the Bank's branches in Australia.
