Important Notice - Temporary Suspension of Bank of China Business Internet Banking Services due to System Upgrade (21 November 2021)

Dear valued customers,

We have continued to put great efforts in developing our banking IT system with the aim of providing you with a more efficient and better service. We are pleased to inform you that we are in the process of upgrading our Bank of China Limited, Sydney Branch's and Bank of China (Australia) Limited's Business Internet Banking Services system in order to improve your banking experience with us.

The upgrade is scheduled from 02:30 am to 09:30 am AEDT Sunday 21 November 2021 ("Upgrade Period").

During the Upgrade Period, the following service will be affected:

Bank of China Limited, Sydney Branch’s Business Internet Banking

1. For Business Internet Banking customers with Single Authority/Multiple Level Authority Levels, any Funds Transfer Instructions that have not been authorised in accordance with your account operation authority before 2:30am AEDT 21 November 2021 will NOT be forwarded to the upgraded internet banking service and will not be processed.  They will be displayed with a ‘transaction failed’ status after the Upgrade Period.  It is therefore important for you to re-enter those Funds Transfer Instructions after 9:30 am AEDT 21 November 2021 for them to be processed.

2. After the Upgrade Period, the Login URL address will be changed. You will need to click on the “Corporate Banking Login” tab after entering our official website at www.bankofchina.com/au. Then choose and click on the “Login Online Banking” button under the Bank of China Limited Sydney Branch section, to access the Business Internet Banking service.  Your current URL will be invalid after the Upgrade Period.

After the Upgrade Period, you can either:

1. continue to use your current Login URL address;or

2. use a new Login URL address - you will need to click on the “Corporate Banking Login” tab after entering our official website at www.bankofchina.com/au . Then choose and click on the “Login Online Banking” button under the Bank of China (Australia) Limited section, to access the Business Internet Banking service. 

We apologise for any inconvenience that might be caused by our banking system upgrade and sincerely thank you for your support and understanding which will assist in making our banking system upgrade process as smooth as possible.
