Notice of Upgrade and Interruption to Bank of China (Australia) Limited Business Internet Banking Services (25 September 2022)

Dear Customers,

Bank of China will soon be upgrading Internet Banking system as part of its ongoing service enhancements. The upgrade is scheduled on 25 September 2022, further notice with times of the System Upgrade Commencement and System Upgrade Completion will be posted on Bank of China Internet Banking platform.

Please note following the System Upgrade:

1.Disruption to Transaction Processing

This upgrade will cause a disruption for Business Internet Banking transactions that have been entered into the system but have not been authorised before the System Upgrade Commencement. Transactions that have not been authorised before the System Upgrade Commencement will be cancelled.

Transactions Pending Authorisation will not be transferred to the upgraded system. They will be cancelled.

After System Upgrade Completion, Business Customers should check their transaction records. Any Transactions that were Pending Authorisation prior to the System Upgrade Commencement must be re-entered.

After System Upgrade Completion the Standard Transaction Processing will be restored.

2.New URL Address for Business Internet Banking login

After the System Upgrade, the URL address for your internet banking Login will be changed. To access Business Internet Banking after the System Upgrade you must go through the official Bank of China website. Select the “Corporate Banking Login” tab after entering www.bankofchina.com/au, Then select the “Login Online Banking” button under the Bank of China (Australia) Limited option.

If you have saved your login page for easy access before the System Upgrade, the page will no longer be available after the System Upgrade.

3.Improved menus

All your Business Internet Banking functions are available after the System Upgrade. E.g. after the System Upgrade you will notice Transfers and BPAY are all submenus under the one Payment Service menu.
