Login to the correct website and download the correct APP
The official website for Bank of China (Australia) Limited is at http://www.bankofchina.com/au.
The mobile banking APP is officially called BOC Mobile Banking (International Version) APP.
Once you have logged onto the correct website or the correct mobile banking APP, you will see your name or your reserved welcome message displayed on the screen.

Keep your user ID and password secure
Bank of China will never request the disclosure of any personal security details such as your user ID (or your bank card number used for login) and password by email, letter, telephone, or SMS.
Avoid using alpha-numeric character combinations which can be easily figured out as your password. Examples include: your birthday, telephone number, or automobile plate number. Please use the alpha-numeric character combinations (capital or small letters) which are difficult to be deciphered as password.
Please avoid using the same password for login to other internet services, for example, internet access or email etc.
Please change your Internet banking and Mobile banking login password on a regular basis.
Please do not write down your username and password on paper. Do not divulge your username and password to anyone nor accept suggestions for your username/password combination from other parties.
Please do not disclose your personal information, including your ID number, passport information, accounts number and other sensitive information, to any suspicious or unverified person or website.
Please keep your E-Token safe and contact us immediately for lost or stolen E-Token.
Security alerts for online banking
Try not to access your online banking in public places such as internet cafés or public library; public computers may be installed with malicious monitoring programs to capture your username and password. Moreover, your keyboard operation may be open to the stealthy observation of strangers.
When you login to online banking, please examine carefully the previous logon time on the welcome page and make sure that it is consistent with your recollection of your last login time. This will help to spot any unusual or suspicious transactions and to avoid fraud by malicious email or website.
Every time you complete online banking transactions, please always click on Exit on the top right-hand corner of the screen and then close the browser or online banking mobile APP.
If you need to leave your computer for any reason, please log-out of online banking by clicking Exit on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Please set a password for your computer or Mobile device to secure the information in it.
Please check your account balance before and after you complete the online transactions. Furthermore, we suggest that you check your accounts on a regular basis.
Guarantee the security of computer
Please turn on the firewall to protect your computer from unauthorised access. This is especially important if your computer is connected to the Internet through wide band or a DSL modem.
Please install and regularly update personal firewall and anti-virus software to prevent computer from virus intrusion.
Every time you complete online banking transactions, it is suggested that you delete the cache and history records in your browser--this is of utmost importance in situations where you use a public computer--so that your account information will not remained in the computer.
Please do not view any unidentified email and do not login to online banking system through linkage from email.
