INTRODUCTION ON BANK OF CHINA MACAU PATACAS BANKNOTES
Bank of China is one of the two banknotes issuing banks in Macau. According to the agreement between Chinese and Portuguese governments and the decree of Macau,Bank of China begins to issue Macau's Patacas notes on October 16, 1995 ,Patacas banknotes issued by Bank of China weight 50% of the total circulation of Macau Patacas banknotes.
The notes are issued in six denominations:
