BOC e-Wallet Card User Guide(Expired)

1. User Guide

1.1 Participating Merchants

The BOC e-Wallet Card (“Card”) is welcome by over 1,000 merchants displaying the UnionPaylogo, including supermarkets, shops, car parks and government. (For detailed information, please click “List of UnionPay - QuickPass merchants” below.)

1.2 Top-up Channels

This Card can be topped-up to a maximum of MOP1,000 via BOC Express and cash deposit machines (“CDM”) in Macau. The details are as follows:

1.2.1 BOC Express : Select “e-Wallet” on the main page,

1.2.1.1 Follow instructions shown on the touch-screen : place the Card on the card reader, insert your BOC Card, select “currency” of the e-Wallet input the top-up amount and touch “Confirm” to complete.

1.2.1.2 If an account has been pre-set for this purpose, the Card can be topped-up with the pre-set account or by “Quick Top-up” in the pre-set amount without the BOC Card.

1.2.2 At the counters of all sub-branches.

1.3 Top-up

This is a dual-currency dual-Wallet card, consisting of a MOP e-wallet and a RMB e-Wallet. The balances of these 2 e-Wallets are independent of each other and can be topped-up to a maximum of MOP/RMB1,000 each.

1.4 A borderless and green way to make payments

Simply tap and go at the point of sales terminals of the merchants displaying a logo with the Card without the need to input a PIN. The maximum amount deductible will be the same as the remaining balance of the respective e-Wallet.

1.5 Electronic balance enquiry channels - Simple and Easy

Balances of both e-Wallets can be enquired through any BOC Express kiosks. For your conveniences, the balance will be shown on the screen during the top-up process or printed on the bottom of each sales slip.

2. Friendly reminder

2.1 Cardholder shall prevent the Card from being:

2.1.1 folded, altered or scratched;

2.1.2 kept in places with high humidity or temperature;

2.1.3 applied to a card reader together with other contactless smartcards or electronic products.

2.2 Use of the Card shall be governed by the Terms of Service for the e-Wallet Cards of Bank of China Limited, Macau Branch.
