Let’s marvel with an enchanting, free flair of flamenco in a performance inspired by the sensual lines of Brazilian master architect Oscar Niemeyer. Spanish top choreographer and dancer Maria Pagés created “Utopia”, a beautiful, intense piece that summons the words of writers like Baudelaire, Benedetti and Saramago.

Pagés’ company returns to Macao with an exquisite group of musicians and dancers who skilfully use their bodies, performing to the sound of flamenco and Brazilian music, soulfully played and sung on stage. The contrast between the dancers’ costumes and Pagés’ large flowing red dress take hold of the set as the cast intimately explores imagination and idealism as inevitable vehicles for change. The performance will put on stage on December 27, 2014 to December 28, 2014 at the Grand Auditorium, Macao Cultural Centre.
