Recently, it has been discovered that criminals are earning remuneration through online “part-time job” platforms such as social media and video APP by pressing “like” button and other scenarios to commit online fraud crimes, and forged the bank’s website to induce victims to provide personal information, usernames, passwords and other sensitive information.

The bank hereby declares that the bank has nothing to do with the above-mentioned counterfeit website and will notify the Monetary Authority of Macao or police of the relevant situation in response to relevant regulatory requirements.

The bank reiterates that it will not request personal information from customers, including bank accounts, online banking usernames, passwords or credit card numbers, etc. via phone calls, emails, text messages, online hyperlinks, QR codes or attachments.

If customers suspect that they have received fraudulent message, they should raise their awareness to prevent being deceived. If necessary, please report it in time.
