Notice of Security Tips for Internet Banking


Dear customer:

Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited and Bank of China Limited, Auckland Branch are committed to keeping your Internet banking safe. Please be vigilant and take the following measures to protect yourself from fraud.

  • We will not send you emails or text messages that ask you to click on links to log in to your internet banking, so please do not click on links in any emails or text messages.
  • We will never ask for your username or password over the phone or email. We will never request remote access to your computer, phone or leave pre-recorded messages with instructions. Please do not provide any internet banking account information to any unauthorised persons including any third parties.
  • If your E-Token is lost, please contact us immediately to apply for the E-Token unbinding and replacement.

If you suspect there is any potential fraud including but not limited to the following: your internet security access has been compromised; your bank account information has been leaked; or you have identified any unusual transactions, please contact us on the hotline 0800 695566.
