Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A. (the "Bank") holds at the disposal of anyone the Pillar III disclosure which describes how the Bank has implemented the Basel II requirements.
The Basel II requirements are international capital adequacy standards developed by the Basle Committee on Banking Supervision, known as Basel II, as implemented in Europe with the Directive 2006/48 and in Luxembourg with both the coordinated Law 1993/04/05 and the CSSF Circular 2006/273 (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) as amended.
At present the Pillar III Disclosure Report produced annually is to fulfill regulatory disclosures requirements based on Pillar III of the revised banking framework "Basel" introduced by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Public disclosure requirements are laid down in Part Eight of EU Regulation Nr 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 ("Commonly known as "Capital Requirement Regulation" or "CRR").
