About PayNow

With PayNow, there is no longer a need to exchange account numbers to send and receive funds! You can now send and receive funds almost instantly with just a mobile number or NRIC - no more cash, cheques, or lengthy account numbers needed.

Simply register your mobile number or NRIC for PayNow service via our Bank of China Personal Online and Mobile Banking services to enjoy this convenience.

You can now send and receive funds almost instantly using just mobile number or NRIC.

Just three steps to complete the PayNow transfer. You can perform transfers of up to SGD1,000 (daily limit) without the need of a One Time Password (OTP) for each channel.

How to send and receive funds via PayNow

You can send funds via

o Bank of China Personal Online Banking Service

o Bank of China Personal Mobile Banking App

" Receiving Funds via PayNow

As a PayNow registered customer, you just need to provide your registered mobile number or NRIC to your friends and you will be able to receive funds directly in your linked PayNow account.

No further steps are required!

Steps for registration

A. Registration via Bank of China Mobile Banking App

1. Log in to Bank of China Mobile Banking App

2. Go to 'PayNow'

3. Click on 'Registration Management'

4. Click on 'Register my Mobile Number' or 'Register my NRIC'

B. Registration via Bank of China Personal Online Banking (Desktop)

1. Log in to Bank of China Personal Online Banking platform

2. Go to 'PayNow'

3. Click on 'Registration Management'

4. Click on 'Register my Mobile Number' or 'Register my NRIC'

Important Notes

1. If you have previously registered your NRIC/mobile number for PayNow service with another bank, please de-register before registering with Bank of China Singapore.

2. By registering for PayNow, you agree to  the Terms and Conditions Governing the BOC PayNow Service, the Terms and Conditions Governing Accounts, the Terms and Conditions Governing Electronic Banking Service and any other specific terms and conditions set out in PayNow FAQ.
