Product Introduction
EliteSaver SGD Time Deposit Promotion is a promotion for SGD Time Deposit Account holders launched by Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch (“our bank”), and is only applicable to new SGD Time Deposit placements. Time deposit tenors are including 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. Please refer to Personal SGD Time Deposit Promotion Rates for the latest rates.
Eligibility & Documents Required
For Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident, please bring along your original Singapore ID. For Foreigner, please bring along your Passport, Employment Pass/S Pass/Student Pass/Long Term Visit Pass/Dependent Pass, and proof of address (e.g. bank statement/utility bills/mobile bills within 3 months etc.).
Note
For premature withdrawal of the deposits above, interest rates of 0.10%p.a. will be applicable for interest calculation based on the actual placement period and no penalty fee will be charged.
Terms and Conditions
1. This BOCSG EliteSaver Time Deposit Promotion (the “Promotion”) applies to new time deposits (the “Time Deposits”) placed with Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch (“BOCSG”) for a tenor of 1/3/6/9/12/18/24 months for SGD Time Deposit.
2. Upon maturity after the 1-Month/3-Month/6-Month/9-Month/12-Month/18-Month/24-Month Tenor, the principal and interest amount of the Time Deposit will be automatically renewed by BOCSG for the same tenor respectively at the board rates, unless other instructions are provided by the eligible customer prior to or upon maturity of the tenors above.
3. To be eligible for this Promotion, the Time Deposits shall not be less than SGD5,000 for SGD Time Deposit.
4. BOCSG’s Terms and Conditions Governing Accounts (as may be amended by BOCSG from time to time) will apply to a placement of a Time Deposit.
5. All participants in this promotion irrevocably consent and authorise BOCSG and its agents and vendors (including but not limited to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the promotion and/ or redemption) to collect, use and disclose their personal data to any person for the purpose of the promotion and/or redemption, and confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of BOCSG’s Personal Data Protection Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by BOC from time to time, a copy of which can be found on www.bankofchina.com/sg/aboutus.
6. BOCSG reserves the right to extend revise or withdraw this promotion, and is entitled to vary, delete or amend the terms and conditions herein as in whole or part without prior notice.
7. The decision of BOCSG in connection with any matter relating to this promotion is final, conclusive and binding on all customers and no correspondence or claims will be entertained.
8. BOCSG shall have the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any person or non-individual from participating in the Promotion without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason. BOCSG's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding on all customers.
9. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and cannot be combined or repeated with any existing promotions.
10. BOCSG, its related corporations, employees and/or independent contractors shall not be liable to any person or non-individual for any loss, injury, liabilities, expenses or damages whatsoever or howsoever incurred or sustained by the customer and/or any other person by reason of, arising from or in connection with this Promotion or any other reason.
11. By participating in this promotion, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein including any amendments and variations thereto.
