On June 29th, Liu Jin, the President of Bank of China met with David Schwimmer, the CEO of London Stock Exchange (LSE), along with his delegation. Zhang Xiaodong, the Vice President of Bank of China, also attended the meeting.
Liu Jin welcomed David Schwimmer and his delegation, reviewed the history of cooperation between the two parties, and introduced the development process and business situation of Bank of China. He stated that Bank of China is willing to leverage its global advantages to strengthen cooperation with LSE in areas such as green finance, technology finance, wealth management, interconnectivity of capital markets, and cross-border renminbi service, in order to contribute to further promoting financial cooperation and trade between China and the UK.
David Schwimmer thanked Bank of China for its long-term support and introduced the business philosophy and development plans of LSE Group. He said that LSE Group will continue to deepen the strategic partnership with Bank of China, providing stronger support in areas such as capital markets, data services, risk management, and product innovation. He hoped that both parties would continue to enhance interaction and establish a long-term communication and cooperation mechanism.
